This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.
And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

The people of Tyre will seek your favor with gifts, the richest of the people. All glorious is the princess in her chamber, with robes interwoven with gold.

Deacons likewise must be dignified, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for dishonest gain.
