Bible Translation Personas
Uses Aaron Zinman’s Personas project to generate a “personality profile” for various English Bible translations. The project identifies mentions of the translation on the web and determines the context of each mention, producing a visualization. Below the translations is a “persona” for each member of the Trinity. To me, the results seem fairly random aside from the NRSV’s emphasis on education (indicating its use in academic settings).
