I say to the Lord, You are my God; give ear to the voice of my pleas for mercy, O Lord!
But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.”
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”
I cry to you, O Lord; I say, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.”
The Lord is my portion; I promise to keep your words.
And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”
A Psalm of David. Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my pleas for mercy! In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness!
O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy!
I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint; preserve my life from dread of the enemy.
To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Maskil of David. Give ear to my prayer, O God, and hide not yourself from my plea for mercy! Attend to me, and answer me; I am restless in my complaint and I moan,
Of David. To you, O Lord, I call; my rock, be not deaf to me, lest, if you be silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit. Hear the voice of my pleas for mercy, when I cry to you for help, when I lift up my hands toward your most holy sanctuary.
Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud; be gracious to me and answer me! You have said, “Seek my face.” My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.”
The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance.
