always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy,
We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers,
I rejoiced greatly to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as we were commanded by the Father.
For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I mention you
who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory. For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you.
For what is our hope or joy or crown of boasting before our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not you? For you are our glory and joy.
For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ.
Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved.
For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ.
complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.
And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
