And behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus, and when they saw him, they begged him to leave their region.
So they came and apologized to them. And they took them out and asked them to leave the city.
Then all the people of the surrounding country of the Gerasenes asked him to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear. So he got into the boat and returned. The man from whom the demons had gone begged that he might be with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, “Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him.
But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord.”
And they began to beg Jesus to depart from their region. As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed with demons begged him that he might be with him.
They say to God, ‘Depart from us! We do not desire the knowledge of your ways.
They said to God, ‘Depart from us,’ and ‘What can the Almighty do to us?’
And she said to Elijah, “What have you against me, O man of God? You have come to me to bring my sin to remembrance and to cause the death of my son!”
When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell down before him and said with a loud voice, “What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, do not torment me.”
And behold, they cried out, “What have you to do with us, O Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”
When Ahab saw Elijah, Ahab said to him, “Is it you, you troubler of Israel?”
Samuel did what the Lord commanded and came to Bethlehem. The elders of the city came to meet him trembling and said, “Do you come peaceably?”
Now therefore why should we die? For this great fire will consume us. If we hear the voice of the Lord our God any more, we shall die.
