“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them.
Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.
Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
You have said, “Seek my face.” My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.”
And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.
If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”
I will rise now and go about the city, in the streets and in the squares; I will seek him whom my soul loves. I sought him, but found him not.
to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life;
Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your statutes!
For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.
May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you! May those who love your salvation say evermore, “God is great!”
When the humble see it they will be glad; you who seek God, let your hearts revive.
At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night, and God said, “Ask what I shall give you.”
