And you shall eat and be full, and you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land he has given you.
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits,
The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God.
Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce;
“But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.
For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer.
Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.
and houses full of all good things that you did not fill, and cisterns that you did not dig, and vineyards and olive trees that you did not plant—and when you eat and are full, then take care lest you forget the Lord, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
