who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.
To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.
This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith— to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.”
