Heading: Jesus Cleanses the Temple 👍👎
Summary: Jesus changed water into wine at a wedding in Cana, and when the wine ran out, Jesus’s mother told him to do something about it. Jesus had the servants fill six stone water jars with water, and when he told them to draw some out and take it to the headwaiter, they found that the water had been turned into wine. The headwaiter complimented the bridegroom on the good wine, not knowing that it had been water a moment before.
Jesus clears the temple courts when he found people selling animals and exchanging money there. He made a whip out of cords and chased them all out of the temple, including the animals. He overturned the tables of the money changers and told them they had turned his Father’s house into a marketplace. 👍👎
